The European Family Center located at 64 Polna Street in Sopot is rapidly taking shape. The establishment of ECR INVICTA is a significant event for us, which is why we decided to have a conversation with CEO Dorota Białobrzeska-Łukaszuk from the INVICTA Group about the progress of the construction work and the plans for the upcoming months.
ECR INVICTA is a project in which we are creating a unique place that aligns with contemporary trends and a holistic approach to health. In this multifunctional, open complex, scientific research and development projects will be carried out, and the latest diagnostic and therapeutic methods will be developed.
ECR INVICTA consists of five buildings, named “B” and numbered from 1 to 5. So we have B1, which is the building where since October 2020, the Research and Development Center, Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, Contact Center, IT Department, Software Production Department, and the administrative part of the INVICTA team have been working.
The next three buildings, B2, B4, and B5, are practically completed in the raw state. Currently, windows and facades are being installed, and interior finishing and installation works are underway. The final facade, consisting of 3,500 square meters of panels, each with a unique pattern, is being installed on building B2.
“The project implementation is underway. Managing the construction of such a large complex, which is intended to be the European Family Center in Sopot, is an organizational challenge that requires flexibility and the ability to respond to changing external circumstances and factors that arise on a daily basis during the construction process. We strive to react promptly, make up for any delays, and adjust the work plan according to our capabilities.
In the coming months, our priority will be to complete the construction works related to buildings B4 and B5, which will serve as the endocrinology-metabolic medical regeneration zone and provide accommodation for patients during treatment. Why do we prioritize these areas? It is because launching this part will allow us to take a step further towards holistic patient care and create new added value for our organization. Our goal is to be fully prepared to receive the first patients in the second half of next year.
Next, we will focus on building B2, which is planned to accommodate hospital and outpatient functions, the medical imaging team, and a pharmacy. The work on this part of the investment will be carried out in stages.
As for building B3, we will address it in the third stage.
Interestingly, and something that I am very proud of, we are building the European Family Center INVICTA ourselves, meaning we are not only the Investor but also the General Contractor. This combination is unprecedented in the medical industry. The construction of ECR INVICTA demonstrates that there are no impossible tasks for us.”
